Whitney and Nate ~ Wedding Poster

    Trying to do something different..

i will probably make my clients a wedding poster from now on.. i think it is cool.. but i don't know.. being this is the first one i have done.. i will have to judge from the acceptance from this first one and gauge popularity of it...

the main background photo was 12 photo stitched together in a hotel hall way during the reception so it is a real scene from the wedding..

i had in my mind all that negative space for something and the poster idea is perfect for it..

lighting for the dancing couple was the westcott boomed by my friend Ryan O Hicks with a set of poppers as the triggers and the 580 EX with 1/4 CTO gel to match the inside lighting

I think that is a very cool poster and the couple will probably feel very lucky they have you for the job. I like the way you made it like a movie poster, well done.

That cool, I like it. But they would probably have to get it after the wedding right? It would be cool if they had one at the wedding. Still awesome.

Lovely background shot, but I'm not a fan of the transition between the couple portrait shot in the top and the rest of the image. It's much too abrupt and feels... cheap.

      This is superb.

Yeah I agree with Alphonsis. Great idea though. Very original. I'm sure that after a couple of tries, they will be just as amazing as all the rest of the things you do

i think you are right.. i will have to add a boarder or another transition object to make it not so sharp of a transition..

      thanks guys..

pretty much i think a movie poster output would be great for any couples work (engagement) and such..

so go out there and make one and share the link back, so we can all see creative work !
