Matt and Laurie ~ Their Moment part 1

working with couples is super rewarding because you get a shot like this !

Matt and Laurie will be wedded later this year.

i always work with my couples because i need to practice with them..
we did dip kisses, and worked on romantic posing tonight..

getting the couple into "their moment" is as easy as just letting them sit or as we have them here, laying down..

working on the hair and legs was the difficult part..

i am sure somebody has done this pose before, but it came to me with them in this location..

hopefully the post work works too..

natural lighting was use here.. and i was on my belly to get this shot.. haha.. well worth it..

post work was one layer of bokeh, and one rust layer for the scratchy look.. and one layer for the muted golds..

here are some bokeh textures i found on the internet.. they are not mine but i am sure if you read, they say you can use them..

Impressive as always Pham. I aspire to your greatness as I've showed your page to two other photographer friends of mine and we all feel a bit schooled by you.

Love this one, but my 2 cents is the bokeh in the grass is a little distracting. I like it in the light because it kinda looks like lens flare, but I find my eye drawn from the couple down into the grass with it there.

Hey Phamster! Been semi following your work on POTN(more like obsessing about the 85L =) ). Love your work man, and this shot is no exception! I think this is the fist shot ive ever heard you say you used NATURAL lighting! hahahahaha!

Anyhow just thought id show some love!

@ everybody.. thanks for the approval..

@ Drews Place.. dude.. there are so many good photogs here.. seriously so many.. i am just glad i can help with others about lighting questions..

father more.. i took your advice to tone down the bottom grassy bokeh.. after the second look.. the bokeh just under her knee was the brighting spot on the photo and was distracting me now.. thanks man.. i had to go back and do a re edit and uploaded the new edit..

thanks for the peer to peer critique..

@ Combatmedic.. yes.. this was natural as it gets.. running and gunning mode.. can't rely on lighting equipment every time right?

breath taking shot, I love it! Instant FAV... I have a couple shoot coming up and nervous cause it is my fist for couples out of the traditional settings. So any hints are welcome! :o)
