Wedding ~ The Golden Kiss

another shot from this weekends wedding..

such a great wedding for me.. why?

it reminds me of how important vows are and seeing 2 families come together..

little children all dressed up and everybody looking like hollywood.. so cool.. !

this was done with a single bare speedlight with 1/4 CTO Gel triggered by radio poppers in ETTL..

i had the camera set to manual:

    1/2000
    F2.5
    ISO 50

and the bare speed light was enough to fill... you can see the shadow under bob's arm for ideas where the light was coming from.. camera left..

the sunny shots will look dark if you don't use a speed light to fill..

tutorial of how i processed this file...

say thanks if it helped you out ! it was hard 30 mins typing it up! hhaha..

Dang, man, you still amaze me. I tried to copy your style a little bit with some senior pics I made of my friend, but I failed in epic proportions. I WANT THAT FLARE! GIMME YOUR LENSES!!!

Floyd.. take the hood off.. and use your free hand to shield off the sun you don't want..

      wow man! killed it!

      hi phamster, nice picture!!

Is the flare real or added later on?

p.s. apparently 1/2000 starts loosing a lot of power compared to 1/1000 on HSS.

Good job, I love the tones! However, I have a feeling that there is something wrong with the composition. Can't really tell what - just this feeling that it could be better :)
