yes.. i have seen a set up where there were 8 speed lights..
but yes.. both fired.. you have to have 2 receivers to assure that though.
this is an expensive set up..
2 580EXII's
2 Radio Poppers recievers
1 550 on top of camera
1 Radio Popper on top of the 550EX
add that all up in current market value is about
750 in transmitters and recievers
1100 in speed lights..
so all together about 1800 -1900 dollars in strobist stuff
but what you get is full ranged shutter speeds with flash off camera lighting and about 120 Watts per second output..
i know.. crazy right? but it is a light weight full shutter sync solution that i have been using when i do a 'run and gun' senior session downtown..
i really can't lug my bees around down town when i have 4-6 locations i stop at or walk by and say.. Oh.. lets stop here for some photos..
