Wedding Shot ~ Midnight Kiss
Corrina and Dustin's Midnight Kiss !
the newly wed has so much energy, full of vigor for each other! this wedding day went by so quickly i couldn't believe it was over as soon as it was..
here is my romantic shot for them.
i stiched 9 photos together to get this wonderful shot.
shot with the 85L, @ 2.2 iso 1600
with the photo stiching the High ISO just goes away.. !
lighting was held by a friend of the groom, on a light weight stand..
i had a 430 EX II with an orange gel to match the street sodium vapor lights @ 1/32 power about 8 feet boomed downward with a shoot thru brella.
i love this shot !

The light between his hand and her flowers is tremendous. As much as other points fight for my interest, it stands out.

yea.. it is the brenizer method..
really is a great way to shoot a dramatic wedding shot..
just pulled the couple out of their reception and the grooms friend to hold the light for me.. of course i did the scouting before i took them out to do the shot..
well worth the extra 5 mins..
thanks guys..
BTW it was Ryan Hicks who showed me this method.. if it wasnt for him, i would have never knew about this style or method..
Ryan was my master... bowing down to hicks.. worship worship.. lol...

So cool, I love the balance here. The subjects lit in a way that draws attention to them as if they were lighting themselves up. I'm trying to imagine the editing that went into this one. Excellent work.

Thanks for the tip. :)
I'd vote for a slightly higher perspective, the traffic light growing out of his head is a drag. Might also go for slightly warmer color on your flash, or slightly less flash, to help blend them into the scene. But all of that is pretty minor, it is really a beautiful shot and I'm sure they'll love it. :)
