Gelling with my Senior Representative.
Tori and i have worked together this fall..
i wanted to create some unique lighting in the weirdest places..
here it seem to be just natural to light up these pipes.
one 430EXII for the blue pipe, and 580EXII for the Red pipe.
and an Alien Bee AB1600 with beauty dish for the front lighting of
tori..
i like the circles, and the diagonals from this shot..
this shot turned out to be one of the mother's favorite shot..
Of course, there will always be
those who look only at technique, who ask "how,"
while others of a more curious nature will ask "why."

I agree about the circles and diagonals. Bonus points if Blue and Orange are her HS colors. I should get gels to match all the local high schools.

The colour lighting looks great! Also a fine location to shoot at. The beauty dish is definately up there on my next items to purchase! I saw a great DIY for making one for the speedlights, but a bigger one for the AB is certainly a must! Georgeous gal here too!

Great job. Buuuuuuut, :) I think you should have underexposed the background/suroundings a bit more. that would probably have given it a littlebit more dramatic effect. But other than that, good job, creative lighting.
