Pentacon 200mm 3.5 Auto Multicoating

Old Pentacon 200mm 3.5 lens with multi-coating. This lens is alot sharper than I expected. Paid 10 euros for it at a jumble sale. It was nicely preserved in a leather case.

wow! i didn't know there was a 200/3.5 version along with the 200/4. this looks to be more or less a successor to the 200/4, since the external looks are pretty much the same as with the pentacon 135/2.8 auto. these old pentacons are really something. this probably has the 6-blade aperture setup?

Happy you! I am exactly looking for such a thing. The 3.5 version must be rare?

Hi,I also got one of this lens years ago.Though there's some dirt and pollution inside, the picture is still very sharp and colorful (relatively high saturation at their age due to good glass material) which astonished me.it's image quanlity better than pentacon 200 f4 MC by test. I'm intererted in it's history and searching, but still have not found anything in common site about pentacon or carl zeiss jena. If anyone get the knowledge please inform me the website url, thanks!
