Mölndals Kvarnby was founded in the 18th century, but the waterfall has powered watermills since the middle ages. Today the water is used for cooling.

This railway yard is located next to Renova's waste-fuelled district heating power plant in Sävenäs. It's one of the world's most advanced facilities for the incineration of waste, according to their homepage. It produces heating for large parts of Gothenburg. The train cars most likely contains waste materials to be burnt in the plant.

The image is a HDR constructed of 7 exposures, with an added vintage sepia effect. The first HDR I've made with my GX1.
