i am fading.
i'm afraid of being forgotten. it sounds selfish, and i suppose it kind of is, but that's the only thing i'm absolutely terrified of. if you're held at gunpoint, you might die, but it's only your body that's killed. but if you're forgotten, you've died forever. someday i want two people i used to know to remember me. i don't care why. i don't who they are. and i don't care if they're smoking marijuana or drinking or hanging out or just sitting on the curb waiting for the world or saying terrible things about me.
i just can't stand the thought of being forgotten.

the glassy light is incredible, cast with shadows of leaves and window panes and lightly misting like an overexposed mirage or leaking film. curling white white duvet, slithering around your ankles like a splash of water. you look so serene. you look like lily cole almost. your hair curling and soaring into flight with perfectly pleated and creased lilac curtains framing you. was this shot through a window?
i drew it. because i'm tired and i always draw people's photos, they just don't know it.
