When I was 14 I was skinny and beautiful and didn't believe it either. I would look at the fashion magazines and wonder when I would look that good. On my last day of high school one of the guys in my homeroom came up to me and asked me why I was such a snob, why I wouldn't talk to anyone and I said "a snob? are you kidding? i've been so lonely these past couple years because of my shyness." I understand you feeling uncomfortable in your own skin - nothing anyone said to me made me feel any different until I was able to see myself in a light that pleased me. I have a daughter now and, at 4 months old, I can see the beauty in her shinning through and I hope to be able to make her see it too someday.
(Also, I gave up on fashion magazines a long time ago. It helped.)
