- i would never lie about vintage film! lol. i love it to death. i think in this one i deleted the contrast and the center fill light layers and redid them myself because they looked weird.

I couldn't decide which one I liked more so the other is in the comment.
Not completely satisfied but I liked it enough to upload. Plus I thought the trail of Betonk balls was pretty neato...
But I think that maybe tomorrow I'll do something with that watering can. I have an idea but I need models for it so I'll do some most likely next week...but still, I'll try to work one in tomorrow. Who am I kidding? More like center my day around it. I have absolutely nothing to do. Ha.
I went downtown with Una and Henry today. We went to the Farmer's market, Red Light (I snagged a pretty badass my little pony shirt there), American Apparel, Powell's (where Una and I tried to teach Henry Magic Eye, which is possibly the coolest thing ever invented), and indulged in some delicious subway. <3
We also went to the camera store.
Where I was crying on the inside.
Because I have no money for lights right now.

And my dad said I can build a studio in the basement but I have to do
it myself (with the exception of him moving a couple things). So I
spent part of my afternoon cleaning out boxes of junk so that we can
move a dresser so that there will be room.
I want it so so badly.

i use a vintage action and then i play with it and delete layers and add contrast until i like it. :)

i think the two shots have two completely different concepts...
the first one is so dark and in the scond even with the darkness you(is it you, rigth?) look so ligh....

yes, the bottom one is me as well. and i think you're right. they both have a different meaning and are trying to get a different message across (which of course i don't know, because my photos come from my heart but i never know exactly what the mean. well sometimes i do. but not here. anyway. i'm bad with words. ha.).

i like how in the first, the trail of colorful balls (i'm guessing) goes all the way to the end of the photograph.
and in the second, i lovelovelove the colors as well as your pose.
