Italy - Venice - Venezia - Early Morning Atmosphere at Piazza San Marco/St. Mark Square with view to San Giorgio Maggiore church
Piazza San Marco in Venice is one of the busiest tourist destinations on the planet. The only time to see the this place in solitude is late evening or early in the morning, before or after the tourists arrive or leave and the gondoliers start their work.
After 2 rather gloomy mornings I was lucky to get such a wonderful light on the last day. The place is really magic when there not 1.000.000.000 people around. Yet another classic shot of Venice, but again one of those I took only this time, during my already 3rd visit to this city.

Very clever and very well balanced photo Lucie. Light gives a great warm mood in to the image.......i like this effect a lot. The lantarn in front does that extra magic trick.....very good.
