UAE - Dubai - Desert Safari

Great thing about desert around Dubai is that the sand is orange with very thin layer of red sand on the top which adds additional richness to the overall color. Desert safari in Dubai is very touristic thing to do, but it is big fun too. They generally stop at some lovely place just before sunset and give you a chance to take some photos with a wonderful light too.

A trip to the desert offers a real adventure into the magnificent landscape of the unique sands of Arabia. This safari tour takes you right into the heart of the desert where you experience the excitement of a roller-coaster tour down the astonishing high dunes. A stop for a breathtaking view of the endless desert gives an opportunity to watch the sun-set over this tranquil scenery.

      Technical:7
Like the way you have played with the diagonals and the shadows. You created a very effective geometric pattern. It is not an original technique, but you used it wisely and the result is fantastic.

      Composition:8
I love the rule of the 2/3, and this is a clear example of how well it works.

Impact: 8The intense colours and the simplicity contribute to the great impact of this picture.

      Commercial Viability: 7
Could imagine it easily as a cover of a journal about travelling: "the desert"

      Technical: 8
I love the way the shallow depth of field slightly blurs the lines in the sand that are further away

      Composition: 8.5
The diagonal lines are great, especially the way they cross with the shadows of the grass. Rule of thirds done really well. I've removed half a mark as I am not fond of the border you have used. I think a thinner black line would work better, it detracts from the image in my opinion.

      Impact: 8
The simplicity of this image draws the viewer in and the bright colours and excellent composition increase the impact that it has.

      Commercial Viability: 8
Could possible be in some sort of travel magazine, holiday brochure, etc.

      Technical: 8
every detail is sharp, exposure to light is perfect this gives a warm color impact of sand and a strong contrast to the shady areas.

      Composition: 7
I like it, how the sand lines runs through the picture and that the main subject with it's shadow gives a contrary line. I think for the grass as main subject the crop must be a little closer, so the grass becames more significant.

      Impact: 7
hot ambience dessert like, with this amazing natural sand pattern. I am not sure with the black frame, I think without this frame the impact would be more friendly

      Commercial Viability: 7
      maybe for a geo magazine
