Looking Forward (52/52)
Thank the Lord this project is over. Though the 52 week project is not as time consuming, it doesn't push you to be better as a photographer. Along the way this became more of a chore than a chance to grow, and I'm very thankful this chore is over. Needless to say, I'm quite proud of this photo. It's my most successful expansion to date. It's not too special for a finishing touch on a year long project, but I just have to keep reminding myself that photography is a journey and this is only one step.
Sorry you can't see all of the pictures from this project. My pro account expired so they're hiding. :(
It's been a fantastic year. If you care, you can read about it here.
I'm doing another 365 project (yes, I'm completely crazy, but you should have known that by now). It's to document my last half of senior year and first step into college, as well as to help me hone in my own personal style (as I don't believe I really have one at the moment).
Thank you for all your support and opportunities throughout this year, and may 2012 be even better!

Ah, I love so much that you said that photography is a journey and this is only one step. That's how it is. Each and every day is only one step that we must take; it is about those decisions that we make along the way. I'm starting the project tomorrow too and that's what I need to keep telling myself. This photo is beautiful. Congratulations on finishing this, it is a big deal! I'm looking forward to your photos throughout the next year. Great job, Lauren <3

Oh Lauren.
i don't even know where to begin, you are such an inspiring photographer. i love to look at your work. i know that sometimes it can be hard to look at what you're creating and be proud of it but i think it's just a matter of times, especially for you because you love to shoot and you will not stop shooting, i know that. so just keep everything going, i know that you'll find your love for photography again. (well, maybe you haven't lost it but i think you're a little bit tired of everything right?). i am super proud of you, i am super rpoud of the photography that you've created this year and also of everything that you've achieved besides that (listed on your tumblrrrr). wow. i cannot wait for your 365 project and everyhting that lies ahead of you, your first step into college. Laure lauren lauren. :) :) :) huge things are going to come for you, i am sure about that one
