I remember being on top of the Zugspitze many years ago and my hands almost froze when I used them to handle the camera. (I had gloves which were useless for pressing the shutter!)
Lovely image, Lano - intriguing to see this landscape in summer with not much snow!! ^^

@ellivu: Me too, I live in one of those faceless industrial towns of the Ruhr district.
@Alles: Thank you! The Zugspitze is very nearby to this place.
@Natas: Yes, that is me behind the camera. =) Thank you.
@Beo: Danke, von da oben schaut man auf alle Nordlichter herab. ^^

I think Ansel Adams would have been pretty pleased with that image.

How high is this? Seems like you could get tossed off by the wind. This in germany?
Lano Ling (10 months ago | reply)
@oceanheadted: Oh no! You are way to kind! But thank you!
@Natas: Where I stood is the border between Germany and Austria, you see more Austria than Germany here. ;)
The mountain i stood on is part of the Karwendel and approximately. 2400 m high.
