me and my dad - repost from two years ago
My dad passed away in late May 2011. Fortunately I had traveled to see him and was able to say goodbye. We had become very close in the last few years.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Navy in the Pacific and Atlantic.
I will miss him, I love him dearly.

No, my disc is not good, it is totally ruptured, but I am dealing with it. I really can still do just about anything but lift. That really hurts when I do lift more than about 10 pounds.
