Sumatran Tiger @ DC Zoo
A Sumatran Tiger at the National Zoo plays in the water. November 19th 2005. The three Tigers are just awesome. They actually enjoy being in the water. On this day they had some pumpkins to play with and after a while some pieces got in the water. I think this cat was messing around, chasing some of them. He was in the water for about 10 minutes swiming around, jumping out of the water and having a grand old time. I've posted others from this run and have many more from other days when they went for a swim.

Eeek, must have been a chilly swim. Great shot. Did you see my note in the Voices group about visiting Tai Shan? Hmmm.... Let me get the permalink in case you didn't see it.
