Okay Jon, I'm not going to have any more room in my favs. Hey - if you happen to catch some great shots of any WHITE tigers, I would love it! I got some at Marine World here in CA but glass, fences etc. all in the way. No clear shots.

Oh oh oh. I am a zoologist who used to work in cat conservation. Omaha Zoo has a fabulous collection of tigers, from a variety standpiont. Sumatran, for example. I have visited a zoo in Britain in which five keepers have been killed by tigers!!! Not sanctioned by the British Zoological Society. A private zoo established by a now deceased man (not eaten) who made his fortune with a betting business. I always imagined a tiger keeper interview to go a bit like this...

      1. Are quick on your feet?
      2. Are you... tasty at all?

Amazing capture of a carefree and playful moment of the magnificent tiger. A sharp contrast to their true plight for survival to live on this planet with mankind. This may be the only way for us to save them. Sorry I got a little too political.....we have so many magnificient creatures and it would be a shame to loose any of them.
