Harris Hawk @ Huntley Meadows, VA

The Raptor Concervancy of VA was at Huntley Meadows today, and had some beautiful birds to show off. They were at the National Zoo last week too.

I used off camera flash from ground level for this one... D200 w/ 80-400mmVR and extension tubes from about 4 feet. (no crop, ie 10 megapixels of hawki-goodness!).
