Sunrise and Sika Elk @ Chincoteague NWR, VA (GVP #20)

This particular scene lasted just a couple minutes - sunrise and the crossing of the elk... My contribution was in lining up the reflection of the rising sun. As the elk moved to the left I backed up (ie moved scene left) in an effort to get more similar shots.

Fantastic shot. You seem able to see what you're going to have before you shoot. I still have to wonder what will happen if I do this or that.

Wow - a fabulous contribution to your Vertical Project series. Love this- almost like arctic tundra (well, without the trees)... on the eastern shore!
