I personally like this one better, but the higher contrast in the top one makes it a better main image for flickr and grabbing eyeballs...

The second one is great with a tight cropping, getting only the head and three hooves. Looks like fun. And you had a good time too.

I prefer the second shot but I know what you mean. How fun.

Nice captures, Jon! I have a shot from Assateague Island of a pony sleeping on the road. Very cool place.

    8. Sir Frog (28 months ago | reply)

Fun shot! At least he's next to the road and not in it.

I like seeing the horse's head in the 2nd shot.......when the first one came up I was wondering cow? bison? horse? Looks like a lot of fun!

Excellent, Jon. There's a horse pasture not far from me, with a wet, muddy spot the horses just love. In the summer I see as many upside down as right side up.

When I saw the thumbnail of this in my contacts list, I thought it was a buffalo or cow or something at the zoo. I got a chuckle when I saw your blog last night.

    33. ToadMama (28 months ago | reply)

Angel Cher, they roam all over the place there. Parking lots, beaches... I haven't been there for years.
