Fox Hunt!
With a Coot I think, based on the feet.
Moose Peterson Interview - I think he likes all Nikon gear, unless he likes something more expensive that's better, then he likes that more...

Jon,
Great capture! How do you come across so many of these foxes? :) I just saw one the other night, but capturing a glimpse of them is rare.

Never mind. My Google works the same as your Google (as one of my daughter's friends would say). www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/American_coot/id

Some win some lose.... it is tough to see. Sometimes I wish there were other ways to stay alive, like some sort of delicious blue goo that drops from heaven, enjoys being eaten and feeds us all. Oh well ...

I thought coot from my first view so I think you are right. I love how the fox is strutting along and the diagonal of the ground.

Nice pred-prey shot.
It is interesting that the fox I've seen will trot along with their eyes almost squinted shut.

Brilliant as usual. We had a fox in our garden a while ago but he was much fatter than this one.
