Aw!! Brilliant! That pose and that
perspective.. Great stuff. And thank God, no Bombay Hook for once... LOL

Actually, that brings up a question. What do
you think the best lens for macro photography
is? I mean macro photography that we might
do, bugs, flowers, thing in nature.
This is wonderful! I'd like to suggest to
Marge that she use it for this weeks icon.
These little ones definitely need a Voice to
keep their habitat standing.
Love it jon. There was a fellow who posted to
photo sites when I first started posting. I
think he had 8 different small jungle frogs.
He posted some I was so jealous of. D
This is one of those shots that has endless
possibilities...you should submit it to Nat
Geo, the 'your shot' thing! Seriously, I
could see this used in many ways!!!! Awesome
work
this strikes me as Such an "iconic"
image, Jon. I especially like all the angular
lines, echoed in the two bits of vegetation,
with Just enough of the background one in the
lower right corner to give the frog's perch
some visual spring. Even the high key effect
separates this from the herd.

I couldn't tell from the thumbnail if it was a frog or a bug. Evidently the frog ate the bug.

Great shot!
With eyes like that, I wonder how he reacted to the flash. At the SF Academy of sciences flash is not allowed on the little animals.
