Gorgeous shot of a barn owl. I find I am getting so used to them, because we have so many in Rehab. Over 20 almost ready to be released and about 8 or so more in various stages of recovery. They found some in the new Olympic Oval here in Richmond. Some barn they found........ its a huge speedskating ring. I am amazed how many there are. I always thought they are endangered. Not around here. Just their habitat is really being threatened, with suitable barns going the way of the dodo bird.
