    I was driving around, spotted him in the top of a pine tree, snapped a few shots, and he took off.

      Yeah, it's a sub adult, just with a little white in the head. Maybe a 4th year bird. But IDK for sure, someone might say 3rd year or 5th year, that's just my guess ;)
