Inbound Eagle @ Conowingo Dam Maryland (+Paparazzi)

This is peak for the (migrating) Eagles along the Susquehanna River. A recent count was at about 150 eagles. There was even a Golden Eagle spotted on more than one occassion, but I didn't get to see it.

If you live nearby, you've gotta check this spot out. It's almost a 2 hour drive for me.

Nice and close! I've seen Golden Eagles migrating over Mt. Lorette in Kananaskis, Alberta, but they were only tiny black specks far, far away. So, lucky you!

Fantastic capture you really caught a shot that most don't get to see the underside of this magnificent bird with wings wide. I wish I lived close to there to be able to take photos also. Thanks for sharing

beautiful! I wish I had access to a spot like that. We have one little nest with 2 eagles. I have to spend hours and hours hanging out in my car just to catch a glimpse of them. It's hard to get good pictures of them in a location like I have but I still feel blessed to be able to see them.

Wonderful action photo of the bald eagle. I find it amazing how such a big raptor can move maneuver through thickets of trees, their sharp eyesight certainly helps.
