Red Fox @ Mason Neck, Va
The bay was still pretty socked in with Fog, and this little fella was cruising the beach.
Within about 10 minutes of my arrival at Mason Neck, I'd already seen: Red Fox, 2 Adult Bald Eagles, 1 Juv Bald Eagle, a Beaver, and a Great Egret. :D Was a great day.

such a swonderful animal to capture. They are so elusive.
this one's brazen - checking you out.
Had one check us out in a prairie dog town in North Dakota once upon a time. He sat back and waited because we're bigger predators than he is.

This is a great year for foxes I think. I've seen a fair number and in the most unlikely places! Great capture !!!

This gonna sound strange but just yesterday driving back from Denali I was wondering if you had lost track of that young fox. I really like this shot with the natural framing.

This is well composed and the light is lovely. The close branches at the top, good framing, and the misty trees in the background make for good depth. Good job.

You really did have a great day to see all of that wildlife in just a matter of minutes! Nice image of this little fox.

Love it Jon! Please help! This person is using my photos without my permission www.flickr.com/photos/kingdom_builder/2448198 89/ Please leave comments telling her to stop posting other peoples photos, including mine. She has blocked me and refuses to play nice. I have reported the abuse to flickr and they sent me some ridiculous form with 6 requests to fill out that is as clear as mud! I am not a happy flickr user any more! Please help! This is a link to the form I'm supposed to fill out. docs.yahoo.com/info/copyright/copyright.html If anyone can help me with this I would very much appreciate it. This is a link to another photo she stole: www.flickr.com/photos/kingdom_builder/2444887 10/ I'm very unhappy with flickr that the victum has to jump through all these hoops, while the "burgler" goes happily on her way and can continue to use flickr. This is not right folks! The Yahoo form should be much easier to understand and be mostly filled out for you by flickr!
Thanks everybody for your care and help.

imtootall - your problem is the reason my photos aren't open to "all sizes" too much of this goes on.

I saw this wonderful photo in the voices thread, and was wondering if you could put your quote in with your description as we are thinking of making a mosaic of all the pictures and it would be cool to have the quotes with the picture.... Thanks!
Great shot!

Beautiful! It's really amazing to see the difference between your shots from a year ago and your recent ones. Me, I've been shooting for about a year and a half too, but I'm not sure I've gotten much better... Gradually switching to more and more expensive cameras though ;)
