Are you sure this is a RWBB? I've never seen one with these colors and markings.
Great shot, either way!

Now, if you could write a guide to using the AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED, I would be grateful!

She's a beauty. They always say to fish directly underneath where a red wing perches.

also just read the blog, excellent info even for us canon users. Also am heading to DC area first week of June and probably going to rent a decent lens (at least a 400 possibly 500). not sure how far the places are you are getting your eagle shots but any tips on localities would be appreciated. Would like to spend a day trying to get at least one shot. I dream of getting one like the one posted at the bottom of your blog.

I agree, great info for Canon users, too. But I am wondering if you, Jon, or anybody knows of a similar blog for Canon users. I'd greatly appreciate a link :))

Beautiful Lady RWBB.

Takuma, and flickrfotografer, I guess you're both right, upon further review, I think it's really an Immature Male RWBB.......

Tremendous nature shot of a beautiful subject in a natural setting. Extremely strong composition, impact and of course wonderful technique. Thanks for sharing both photo and lessons.
