Tioga - Male Bald Eagle at Washington DC / US National Zoo.
Some wild Red-Shouldered Hawks seemed to return to the zoo within the last couple of weeks. A keeper mentioned to me that the hawks were bothering another captive Hawk. I saw Tioga acting strange too, possibly not eating his food on Sunday 9/3/2006... IDK, seemed strange.
This photo was taken on August 27, 2006 in Woodley Park, Washington, DC, US, using a Nikon D200.
