Tioga - Male Bald Eagle at Washington DC / US National Zoo.

Some wild Red-Shouldered Hawks seemed to return to the zoo within the last couple of weeks. A keeper mentioned to me that the hawks were bothering another captive Hawk. I saw Tioga acting strange too, possibly not eating his food on Sunday 9/3/2006... IDK, seemed strange.

Fabulous shot Jon. Amazing detail - being able to see each individual fiber in the feathers. Curious about his behavior being different - do hawks harrass eagles?
