Really- :-) --I thought everything was going to be tigers after this weekend--but clearly none of us ignored the black and white fellow either--this is one of the best shots I've seen.

The fill flash really makes this exceptional, from the catch lights in his eyes to the subtle highlights on the black fur. Great shot Jon.

This is really great - you can really see the texture of the fur. Interesting that he's chewing on a pine twig instead of bamboo!

(I have been hesitant to try a fill flash at the zoo - do you see any negative reactions from either the animals or humans? Although I must say that nature's lightning is far brighter than any flash.)

re: CS That lesson will have to wait, (1) No money LOL! (2) It doesn't work on my new Intel MacBook. Intel version won't be available till Spring '07! I had wanted to experiment with PhotoshopElements 3 during the summer, but my PowerBook died and Elements doesn't work on my Intel either!
