Thanks, in case you haven't noticed I've got photoshop/manipulation on the brain lately... Usually I try for the most realistic image possible, but, there's so much more that can be done, ala *IVAN*, etc....

WOW!!! This fantastic shot should be hung in a gallery somewhere. It would be soooo incredibly beautiful on my wall! I love it- what a terrific sense of motion. You really outdid yourself on this one- I think it's probably my favorite Flickr shot of all time. Maybe the fact that I love herons and egrets has a lot to do with it, but it's seriously one sensational shot! Wayyyyyyyy to go!

@Fort Photo: I was invited to that group a little while back, and joined. Then I realized it was a "me too" group by a new member of flickr. There are already tons of bird/nature groups out there. The added request of spreading the invites, well, seemed like a land grab for conquered land.
Groups have changed IMHO, from the early days of flickr, before my time actually, where you could meet and share on similar topics. Now many people tend to treat many groups as if they are just tags. Or buckets to dump photos in to.
I hope that didn't come off the wrong way, I just don't like the idea of so many duplicate overlapping groups. I recently quit over 100 groups, and just now, /birdphoto.
