Saw this in your "highlights from year one" collage...what a great shot! So much to see here! Great shot of the birds, and a family at that, with the background of the Washington Monument AND a plane taking off from Reagan, then you look at the detail of the birds and notice the plastic raincoat they used to beuild their nest...wow! Great capture!
