4th of July Fireworks - Washington DC (7/4/2006)
These were taken from the boat club just south of Reagan National Airport in VIrginia.
I was hoping to go to Gravelly Point instead, but by 7pm it was packed all over and I was just happy to park and get a good spot along the water facing the DC...
This was my first attempt to actually photograph fireworks with a DSLR. I shot in jpg, and kept the ISO around 800, -1.7EV and I used a tripod (d200 w/ 80-400mm)...

Great shots of the fireworks, eh. I took some photos of firworks too, very hard to get a good shot, eh. I used a 50mm lens with an f/1.8. Had the ISO at 100 and played around with the shutter speed.
