A Bald Eagle at Great Falls National Park in Maryland. This was my first trip and it was great. The Falls are impressive but there was also a lot of bird activity.
This is one of the 3 eagles that are nesting on the small island up river from the falls.

I've been to Great Falls (Maryland side) twice recently - but no bald eagles. Any hints as to where to look?
(I've really enjoyed the Great Blue Herons, but... I'd really love to see the bald eagles!)
