Black Swans #2
Taken on a bright moonlit night after a trip to the pub (just over the horizon!). I have to navigate this to get back to the flat!
I really want to like these images but they are missing something / somethings not quite right, any thoughts?

Maybe stopping it down a bit (I'm assuming it's on a tripod) will make the background sharper - but the exposure longer. I lockable shutter release would be good - then also have ISO 100, which'll be better quality - less colour noise too. Auto focussing in the dark is a pain the ass, especially with that lens.
It's also quite dark, so angle it for more water relection of the sky etc.?

Thats a damn good point, I've only just realised it was ISO 800, waaaay to high. Dagnammit! thats what you get for 1.30am photo sessions after the pub! good point about the stops too.

Also I need a remote trigger for shooting on bulb!

You could always put it on mirror lockup. Then self timer changes to 2 second delay. Useful if you don't have a remote with you.
