cimitero, Bafia
Our relatives took us on a tour of the family gravesites in Bafia cemetery. Often husbands and wives were buried in different sections of the cemetery, probably because space was at a premium. We noticed several graves with signs reading "Abandoned tomb." Those remains would be collected into a comunal ossuary to free up the tomb for new arrivals. Thanks to our relatives care, we are still able to view the grave sites of our great grandparents, great uncles and aunts.

Bafia, Sicily? My parents are from there too -- my grandparents (Donato) might actually be in that shot. Very nice ...
