Do you really like this one? You, Ansel Adams' best disciple? :-)

Ah, the woman is standing on the bicycle lane but it seems that's no problem in Bruxelles - I made bad experiences with this kind of place in Berlin .-))
Indeed a nice compo although I miss the white painted red bricks .-))

if these mobile phones send any form of harmful radiation the world will be full of Van Gogh clones one day (just another useless thought) Great picture BTW

Im also to be fascinated by fine streets ... not the ones which show old ladies with a dribbled ice cream ... I like fince composed shots like your friend in New Zeeland do ... and as I saw: you are on a good way :-) : everyone is at the best place which is possible and thats the reason that I presume: you wait ... and you did several shots.

In Brussels, white houses equate Neoclassical precincts.
      Interesting thoughts. :) Thank you.
I was kidding. I know that you're the only one one earth that combines Adams' lyricism with Becher's objectivity. :) I made several shots, because I make several shots of everything, but I didn't wait longer than usual. Waiting for the decisive moment is not for me. Finally, I must make a confession: there are 2 people at the exit of the dark tunnel, behind the woman's head. I darkened them in Photoshop, because they were very annoying in the composition.
      :-)
      Thank you. :)

ah ... I saw now ... and you dont upload the big sized ones like Ansel Becher ... now I know the reason for ... :-)))

It's generally not a problem to stand in cycle lanes in Brussels because you'd have to be nuts to ride a cycle in Brussels.

Près de Bruxelles Nord? Très joli quartier, ça.

I'm too lazy to 'save for the web' twice: once at 850 pixels width for my website, once at full size for Flickr. :)

(Suis jamais content.)

c'était une agence d'intérim... à babord en pivotant de 90°

Nice urban street scene. The woman with the phone to her ear seems to have gotten the bottom of her skirt wet. She's probably been walking in the rain for a while.

    26. - dirac - (4 months ago | reply)

      With meaningless elements.
I wondered too. Did she cross a river by foot?
