      There are indeed many similarities between some landscapes of England and of Belgium. I was struck by them when I travelled in England, many years ago.

      I hope the farmer/land-owner himself (or herself) is the one doing all this tearing across the field in their motor vehicle. Makes a neat shot, though.

      Most probably "himself", I never saw a woman driving a tractor here.
      But none of them were nearly as good as this one (you forgot to add).

      I am imagining this is a field for brussels sprouts. I am enjoying this image, it seems to be a simple but beautiful photo of a simple lifestyle. (though farming has no doubt changed in modern times).

      I don't know what kind of culture it was. Some above say or imply that it could be a field of potatoes, but I don't think so. Potatoes are earthed up.
      My gentle vision of the fields is the consequence of childhood memories: my grandparents, on my mother's side, were farmers. The reality is much harder. Farming isn't an easy job at all.
