Jacksonville Evening Panorama

Finally took the much needed time and opportunity to do a much deserved Jax pano. Two shots beginning at the south end of the Acosta and ending at the river sea wall where I was at. Stitching done in Photoshop CS3. Many thanks again to an awesome photographer **Starlah** for the tips on doing panorama's with CS3. Thank you again Sarah! This is not an HDR photo.

I got to meet a really nice couple Charlie and Carol at the River City Brewing Company while I was shooting these series. It seemed to me that Charlie is a pro-shooter but was kind and modest enough to play it down, considering the beer he had in his hand, and his wife Carol was very nice as well. The people we meet with a camera...priceless!

Nice one bro. I need to get out more for evening shots. That is my downfall at the moment. Just need more time to experiment. I have the tripod, some settings in mind, just need the practice.

Wow!! Thank you for the comments and faves everyone. This is truly an honor!

My favorite part of this shoot was how the sky and clouds reciprocated the elements of dark and light. If you notice, on the left and right hand sides of the skies above the skyline; the darker clouds on the left have the bright backdrop of the setting sun, and the lighter / purple-magenta clouds on the right have the darker skies as a backdrop. I like to add elementAL subtlties like this to my photography for the added DoC (Depth of Contrast).

Once again I thank everyone for their time and kind words! ~Allan
