I think the amount off AT-ST's rivals that of
the speeder bikes. Nice to see some black
telescopes though. Not sure why they placed
the 3x2 plates on the back of the bikes.
Makes them look too long IMO.

to 100. If I can afford it I'll buy this the
minute it comes out and re-sell most of the
minifigs.
The AT-ST looks loads better than the last
two attempts, but I wish the trap door on the
top was bley instead of dark gray (I'm
thinking this was caused by the same strange
disease that made designers put blue on TIE
fighters). The speeder bikes are also way
better; (does anyone else see some influence
in there from AFOL versions of the speeder?).

parts, and some nice figs. That's all we

Yes, it's 890 pieces, so $100 seems like a
reasonable price for 12 minifigs with mostly
new prints and stuff. The commando helmets
and Ewok printings look great.
I can see three flick-fire missile pieces
that aren't being used as flick-fire
missiles... 3 for the AT-ST guns (one actually works) 1 for the chief Ewok's staff

rebel commandos are wearing?
Hehe. That would be pretty funny if that's
what they were, considering I use a similar
technique for my troops(to represent light
assault packs). I use a neckbracket with a
1x1 tile.
No, cjedwards is right. They're angle
brackets with a 1x2 plate. If you don't
believe it, put one on a minifig and put
yourself in the same place as the camera,
then compare. It's really not that hard.
I think those are not final molds, but
rather mockups made of clay or something.
As for those backpacks - you'd think they
could have come up with something more
interesting to put on the back than a 1x2
plate. At least give us a 1x2 tile and a
pretty sticker for crying out loud!
EDIT: On a second look (And considering this
is probably meant to be the hi-res image for
LEGO.com), I think those are final molds, and
they really do look kind of creepy/ugly.
