you are certainly beautiful but the infra red looking stuff on the right hand side and the sepia is very off putting. But I guess you know that which is why you posted the other one........(happy new year)

poetic and beautiful. love the tones and expression
The Elvis ballad "They Remind Me Too Much of You" comes to mind...
Take away, the scent of flowers/ Cover up, the sky of blue/ Close my ears to tender love songs/ They remind me too much of you
Must I evermore be haunted?/ Day after day, my whole life through/ By the memory of each moment/ That I spent with you
Have a great day! :-)

A bad case of sunburn Christine, i'm glad your eyes were preserved. I still can't cook the 'sweet' potatoe.. I guess I will plant it in my garden to propogate more heart Shaped felt offspring--i could set a trend ;-) Thanks for your comments.. have a wonderful New Year

Interesting processing on this one - something different for you. Like to see you experimenting out here like this! I really like the subtle texture on top of this one - almost didn't notice it at first. Always love the new things you try!!
As for my 100mm - it may be a purchase. Almost $2,000, so really need to think about that lens before I jump into it. I really love what it is doing with my shots of Ashley (minus her nice mittens she never wears, LOL!!) Do you like her 50mm or 100mm shots better?
DWH284 (17 months ago | reply)
Nice portrait...lovely composition, the sepia and background texture are excellent....but the radioactive pink flare on the right does nothing for this old curmudgeon, I'm afraid.. Well done for experimenting bravely, though!!!

Dramatic but very effective :) Another great self portrait Christine :) Did you have a good new years eve? Hope you had some fun with your family. As for whether or not I am sure I want to go to London... I'm not. Anymore anyway. Maybe these are just pre-move jitters... I really hope I don't make the wrong decision.

... interesting processing... it associates me of an old photo that is partially ruined because of the heat... Like distorted old memories of a loved one now slowly fading away... being ruined by the time that has passed by...
