avanti press licensed this photo of mukha for xmas cards this year! i wasn't going to post anything about it until at least after halloween, but, i just found out they're already out !! someone just emailed me saying she bought some at cracker barrel today and asked if i sold box sets of them! yaay!!

i had no idea what to expect, but i was really impressed when i first saw the card! they had a hard time coming up with an idea that would work, and it took them a long time, but finally this was the result! they had to build her body!
i think this is kinda cool~ they contacted me about using the photo just 2 weeks after i posted it on flickr!

also, mukha's tongue wasn't ever really stuck to a pole! she's never even seen snow before.. avanti just came up with the idea to stretch her tongue out and make it look like it. here's the original photo..
