      hehee :) susan, when i look at this and see the boat in the back, i always think 'gondola' instead of canoe. it just sounds more appopriate! canoe doesn't sound romantic at all.. actually, i've always found the word to be disturbing! when i think of gondolas though, i think of john singer sargent and his paintings, which i love!
      hmmm.. officially right now i am going to just start calling it a gondola!
