rolyn and chanhi on the book cover for john fante's 'my dog stupid' ~ french translation 'mon chien stupide'. (it's not about a stupid dog ;))

the middle images are the front and back of the book, the outer images are the bookflaps that go inside the book.
this is the rough version of the cover, i'll repost the final version sometime before november when the book is going to be published.

oh, here is a sloppy translation of what it says on the back of the book::

it was a dog, not a man, a simple animal which at the appropriate time would become my friend, would fill up my spirit of pride, of drolery and d' nonsenses. it was closer to god than I would be it never, it could neither read nor to write, and that also was a good thing. c' was a misfit and j' stays a misfit. j' were going to beat me and lose; he would fight and gain.
