alterations:
lowered the neckline by about an inch and a half (the necklines are
always so much higher than the illustration)
finished the neckline with bias cut fabric rather than facings
cap sleeves instead of elbow length
finished the hem with a panel of fabric to mimic all of the seaming on
the dress
a sloped shoulder adjustment taking out probably more than 2 inches at
the shoulders (must be all that computer work...)
