During the high heat of summer, powerful & fast-moving storms often sweep in, producing some truly drammatic skyscapes. Capturing fabulous lightning streaks was an added bonus!

a reworking of an old Summer holiday photo (from 2004) taken with my first digital camera (my trusty G2) before I was serious about photography.

because I'm a 'credit where credit is due' sort of person I must mention the work of the mighty Eric Frey who inspired me a little with his amazing minimal photos.

also on the subject of credit I must confess that this is also a nod to the mighty wesbs who does the blurred photo so very well!
