    Nice work Steffen, a lovely build for me to come back to Flickr too after a month or two busy with life. I also did an MOC X-wing which I'll be uploading later, over Xmas. Yours and Psiaki's recent mods to his are outstanding though
    I agree with Curty above though, a bit hard to see the details on this due to the background.

    Beautiful stuff though, very sleek and hardly a stud in sight...

    I definitely agree that white is the best x-wing color availible. That said, I think you should go with white for you cockpit structure too. The dark gray makes it look a lot larger than it is. It is also hard to see the different panes of glass in there, which is what is cool about it.

    Also, the tips of the laser guns make the whole thing look a little deformed, did you try adding in a 4L bar or using a flick fire instead?

    They're actually supposed to be white, the lighting/weathering give them a grayish hue in the films.

    Actually it's supposed to be lime green with purple sparkles, but the old film technology at the time couldn't capture the true color in high definition.
