The ghost in the cellar
It's a place full of rooms.
Some I often visit, other full of dust.
There is actually more rooms than I can even remember, more than I
even know of.
Some are quite empty, while others are full of people and things.
Some have their entrance wide open. Others I lost the keys of their
locked doors, if I ever got them.
Every time I construct a story, I walk through them, pause in some, go
past others.
Some stories, though, bring me in special places.
Some stories bring me deeper and deeper inside that maze of rooms.
The better the story is, I believe, the further it makes me roam.
And some stories bring me at the top of those stairs, that dive deep
into the darkness of the cellar.
That's when she appears.
Every time.
The ghost of the blind woman.
When I was a kid, she was already haunting my dreams, every other
night.
Now I only meet her here.
I've never found out who she is, who she was. But I'm sure I've known
her once.
She appears downstairs whenever I open that door.
Every time, I hope she won't.
Every time, she does.
Forbidding me to ever come down there, standing silently between me
and the best stories I could ever tell.
So, every time, I turn back, and close the door.
The door to the cellar of my brain.

The words take it to a whole 'nother level, i must say.
Isn't the process in and of it self fascinating?
Also, it's interesting that you see through that of which is deemed blind.
