Yes, a little color is a nice thing today. All we have here is -11 F and everything is white. Both images are beautiful in their own way. I prefer the original because I like sharp! Beautiful macro my friend.

According to my daughter, orange is very much the "in" colour for winter fashions over here in the UK this year and I must admit, I have been seeing more of it about just lately.
Meanwhile, I discovered only recently that orange is supposed to be a power colour. Claims are also made for it being one of the healing colours, but be careful because it's also said to increase the craving for food. On the other hand, it's also said to stimulate enthusiasm and creativity.
Orange is usually associated with vitality and endurance as well and people who like orange are supposed to be more thoughtful and sincere.
I already knew that Lady Luck's colour is orange (gamblers often carry an orange object of some sort in their pockets) and that burning an orange candle for seven nights in succession will initiate change in your life.
So, who knows...maybe your choice of photograph here wasn't as casual as you might think!
