International Design Workshop of Zsennye's photostream

The new era of Zsennye workshops started in 2005, when some former founding members of "Zsennyei Műhely" (first held in 1978), and some teachers and students of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics organised "H2005" workshop at Olaszliszka, Hungary. This was followed by two more workshops (Traktér and Traktér 3) at Olaszliszka in 2006 and 2007. After this, the workshop went back to the very inspirative environment of a medieval castle and it's old english garden in Zsennye. We decided to use International Design Workshop of Zsennye as a brand, and to continue the heritage of "Zsenyei Műhely" in economical design.

The Zsennye workshops were always the place for designers to meet, discuss, and to design internationally. As we know, it was the first international design workshop of the eastern block, and the only (before the system change) with participants from the West.

In the new era (from 2005) we had participants from Switzerland, Holland, Turkey, Poland, Romania, South Africa, the Czech Republic, Malaysia, Taiwan and of course, from Hungary.
